Protection masks
When the COVID19 crisis started, We noticed that the medical staff and citizens of Yeruham, Dimona, and Be’er Sheva are having a shortage of protection masks, so we started producing masks ourselves, and gave them to the medical crews.
We produced two types of masks; One, a full-face cover shield mask, that was mostly for the medical crews; and a fabric mask, used to cover the nose and mouth, was targeted mostly for citizens.
The manufacturing process included 3D printing and laser cutting.
We produced over 3,500 masks, and besides handing them out to medical centers and local citizens, we sent 750 masks to Miami as a part of the partnership between the two communities.
